IIUM Alumni Nigeria Chapter

15 November 2025 - A warm and inspiring evening at the Malaysian High Commissioner’s Residence in Abuja as H.E. Aiyub Omar, himself a proud IIUM alumnus from KENMS Class of 2000, hosted a casual get-together with members of the IIUM Alumni Nigeria Chapter.
With about 18 alumni in attendance, representing various sectors, the gathering became a meaningful space for reconnecting, sharing experiences, and celebrating the global spirit of IIUM. Many reflected on how the university shaped their academic journey and professional success.
The meeting also strengthened ties between the High Commission and the alumni community, opening discussions on professional collaboration, bilateral interests, and opportunities for future cooperation between Malaysia and Nigeria.
A memorable day of unity, networking, and shared heritage. Truly reflecting the IIUM spirit of “Garden of Knowledge and Virtue.”
