The AIKOL Inaugural Distinguished Alumni Talk Series
6 January 2026 — The AIKOL Inaugural Distinguished Alumni Talk Series, organised by the AIKOL Alumni Wing (AAW) in collaboration with Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), successfully brought together AIKOL alumni and students for a meaningful and inspiring session.
The highlight of the event was the Distinguished Alumni Talk by the Honourable Tan Sri Dato’ Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar (AIKOL, 1992), Attorney General of Malaysia, titled “Shaping Justice: The Life Journey of an AG.” Drawing from over 30 years of service in the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC), he emphasised the core values of Amanah, Integrity, and Justice, shared selected case experiences, and reflected on his personal and professional journey. A notable moment was his remark that nearly two-thirds of AGC officers are IIUM alumni, underscoring IIUM’s strong and lasting contribution to the legal profession.
Alhamdulillah, sincere appreciation is extended to the AIKOL Alumni Wing (AAW) for its generous contribution of RM60,000 towards the AIKOL Facilities Improvement Project, demonstrating a strong commitment to giving back to the alma mater.
The Alumni Relations Division (ARD) looks forward to continued supporting the Kulliyyah-Based Alumni Wings through more impactful programmes in the future, in support of nurturing future leaders and further strengthening our beloved alma mater.
