The devastating Covid-19 pandemic is not a hindrance for us to participate in the annual World #QuranHour, albeit the Conditional Movement Control Order style.
As much as it breaks our hearts not to be able to immerse ourselves among the big crowd that gathers annually at the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque, IIUM Gombak Campus, in support of the World #QuranHour. But we will not give up. We will continue to carry out the mission with the help of technology.
4 TV stations - AlHijrah, RTM, Bernama TV and Astro Oasis as well as several digital platforms - Sinar Harian, TVAlhijrah, QuranHour and Ideaktiv will bring World #QuranHour directly to your home or office.
Whether you are at home or in the office, in Malaysia, or anywhere in the world, take a break at 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm on 13 May 2020. Take your Quran and read it alongside the Qari that will be reading it live from the studio. Then listen to the tadabbur and take note of the messages in Surah Ar-Rahman that is the focus of this year’s World #QuranHour.
Together let us fill the world with Surah Ar-Rahman and pray that Almight Allah will shower His mercy upon us.
